hi, los angeles

I've realized that I haven't exactly dished my thoughts on Los Angeles since moving to this smog filled city. Putting aside the fact that the city itself is so spread out which has caused the necessity of going out of my way to get to my destinations; I love how there are, for the lack of better word, niches, here in old Los Angeles. Though I have yet to explore every nook and cranny, I'm always excited to see what's around the corner. In some cases, not so much when you run into sketchy/creepy homeless men who have nothing better to do than be... sketchy and creepy. I moved out here to immerse myself into a different environment and lifestyle. Being 18 years old with dreams is empowering and if it means taking risks, then so be it. What is life without a little fun and kicks along the way anyway.

I think this outfit is very cute. Those peep-toe shoes are very nice, and the sunglasses are cute. This dress is very nice.

Wow it's kind of inspiring to see someone my age that's so independent and already know what they want. I guess if you put your mind to it, anything is possible.

BTW: love your outfit!

Los Angeles is a really old city and within every corner, you'll come across druggies, gangs, and even homeless people. They appear during the day and night, but they won't bother you unless you bother them.

I guess LA is no different from any other old city, though. Good luck on finding yourself here and welcome! :)

It's amazing to read a story of a girl who moved to such a big city, while I myself doing my best to escape to the countryside..
Love your outfit, white sandals are a great surprise paired with black tights and leopard dress! Beautiful.

First off, that dress is amazing and the fact that it's from Target makes it better. Rodarte can do no wrong! And those platforms are insane.
Second, I'm so excited for you that you've made a huge move to LA! It must be such a rush being in such a big city with big dreams. I dream of moving to NY in the same fashion. Good luck to you! I can't wait to see all the great things to come for you :)

I don't know how but you made the heart shaped sun glasses look cool and edgy instead of cute somehow. LOVE IT.
